The Leviathan Trilogy is great for all ages, through all the generations!
Pictured (left to right) are my grandpa, who just finished Leviathan, my mom, who's read the trilogy, and me, who has read LBG multiple times :)
If all the people in my family who have read it were in the picture, there'd be six of us, and with all the people I've gotten to read it, there'd be a lot more.

This is totally awesome. My mom would hate the series. XD She's a fan of the completely realistic no-frills tales about quilting or something like that.

I wish I could get that many people to read it! My immediate family has read it, but the only friend I've actually gotten to read it was JarOfHope, who is here on dA. A bunch of my friends a) wonder b) say they'll read it later or c) started it but never finished it. I don't understand.... The friend who introduced it to me and my sister still loves it, but at this point I am the most in love. But I can't seem to spread the love!

And awesome idea, too. I love things like this when I don't see them anywhere around me....

Although I've kind of forced a few of them to read it, it's paid off. My new nickname around school is Miles, although most people have no idea that it's my cross-dresser name. (Like Deryn became Dylan, see?) I, too, am the most in love.
Okay, cool story time. I may be convincing my aunt to name her boat "Leviathan" (She's currently reading "Goliath") so that I can be a midshipman on it (That part she's already agreed to). AND THEN I'LL BE A MIDSHIPMAN ON THE LEVIATHAN!

That would be barking awesome! I wish my family was like that. On speacial family occasions I dress all steampunk awesomeness and my family just thinks I'm weird. Most of them are way prejudice/religious. Not that religion is bad, it just seems to make my family very picky and disdainful of many things, such as the awesomeness of fake glasses. Because I sometimes wish I had glasses, so I bought fake ones! And my aunt subtly (or not so subtly) "Oh, you're one of *those* people." Are fake glasses a sin? They were steampunk! XD

I wish I could name a boat something cool like Leviathan, but I get seasick.... :(

I would love to even have a steampunk outfit. And, honestly, what's wrong with it even if you are "One of *those* people"? It just shows that you have an imagination and aren't afraid to do fun and sometimes crazy stuff. I fully admit to being "One of *those* people", and it's totally awesome. And, yes, religion tends to shun anything different. Which I very much don't agree with. I live to be different.
*sadface* My aunt refuses to name her boat Leviathan. She wants "Carribean Soul". I mean, what? Don't worry, I'll keep trying.

Hmm. She's outright refused now. BUT I WILL NOT GIVE UP. And if she names it something else I'll always call it Leviathan anyway.

Of course. If it were in my nature to give up, I'd be a couch potatoe who played computer games rather than th cross country runner super reader that I am. :) so I certainly will.

Dang. I want to go to England so bad. *thinks of cool red telephone booths that may or may not still be on the streets* Instead I'm just little ol' me from the Midwest, where the people are as nice as the food (which is delicious)...
I like it here. :)

They still have a few red telephone booths, but they're pretty much only ever there around London.

And, as long as you like where you live, everything will be okay :)

Yeah. I really do like it here. Big cities scare me because there aren't trees there. And I'm a tree hugger. Literally.

That's so awesome that your whole family is reading the series! My parents aren't readers, my sister finds the series really annoying, and my brother has a vague interest in it. I'm the only one that loves it. Oh well, I get the books all to my self. :)

I have a paperback copy of Leviathan and hardback copies of the other two books. Then I have all three in e-book and audio book too.

Well, except my sister. She refuses to read anything my brother and I read first. For instance, she still hasn't read the Hunger Games and is always like, "Hey, you guys should read *this* book," which of course is an awesome book that I really enjoy, but I wish she'd trust me when I say, "*You* should read *this* book." You know?
I have at two copies of each book, three of Leviathan, but I don't have e-book or audio books. Which makes me sad because I really want to have them on my iPod so I can be doing something and listening to my some of my favorite books at the same time!
Anyway, thanks!

I bought the Leviathan audio book from ebay, but the other two I got from youtube. I used this file converter website: [link] All you have to do is paste the URL.

Awww, that's cute! Great take on the theme. :D :D I'm glad that so many people in your family read it~
I've gotten two out of three of my little brothers to read it. My parents would never read it haha. Well, first, cuz it's in English, and secondly because they have much more important things to be reading about *coughrealpeoplecough* XDD;;

Thanks! I'm glad, too. Because then they understand all my crazy references. Like today, there were hot air balloons flying around and I was like, "OMBS I WANT TO RIDE IN IT AND BE LIKE DERYN!" ... "Except Dad can't come."
